Alex and Ani

A Rhode Island based brand that absolutely exploded with popularity. To wear in a bunch of bangles or by themselves, these jingly pieces of jewelry are charming and eco-friendley as well. Many of the bracelets have special meanings behind them and they come in several varieties ranging from plain silver or gold, or with colored beaded stones. The average bangle sells for about $25 and although they started in small RI boutiques you can now find these stylish accessories in department stores nationwide or at AlexandAni.com

Lauren Moshi

This line was inspired by a brother and sister's lust for luxury. Michael and Lauren Moshi based their line off of fine art and high fashion, hand drawn by Lauren herself. If you're buying this brand, you have a keen eye and appreciation for detail and the best fabrics for t-shirts, hoodies, sweats and cardigans. I would say this brand is in the same lane as Wildfox Couture (which I previously highlighted), where you'd be spending about $85 for a super cute t-shirt.  Fashion icons such as Lauren Conrad, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anne Hathaway, Lindsay Lohan, Reese Witherspoon, Paris Hilton and many more have been spotted flaunting these fashionable frocks.

Motel Rocks

Motel Rocks is a super trendy brand with a heavy vintage flair. This brand originated in 1990. It features flirty dresses, tops, skirts and shorts all unique and made for the young and fashionable. My favorite portion on the line are definitely the dresses. They can be worn for a variety of occasions, all of which you'd be sure to be a standout when dressed in Motel Rocks. You can buy online at MotelRocks.com TopShop.com Karmaloop.Com and online as well as store at Urban Outfitters. To buy a dress from Motel Rocks you would be looking to spend under $100.

WILDFOX COUTURE

I first came to know of this brand by using "Stumble Upon" which is a website you can swift through websites via specific categories, I used fashion (as you can see, I credit most of my most exciting fashion discoveries to internet exploring). As soon as I looked at the website, I was hooked. When reading up about the brand on it's website, I learned that the designers for the brand, Emily Faulstitch and Kimberley Gordon are childhood friends based out of California as you can tell, the clothes definitely give off an West Coast vibe. After I had discovered this brand, I took a trip to New York, just after the Kardashian's boutique DASH had opened up there, and upon visiting I learned that DASH boutique was one of the only stores that has a full line of Wildfox Couture. Urban Outfitters also sometimes has some Wildfox (I scored a sweatshirt on sale on Newbury St., Boston). The brands website also has a webstore, (wildfoxcouture.com) and you can also find a good variety at KarmaLoop.com. This brand is a little pricey, about $60-110 for t-shirts and sweatshirts, but worthy of the celebs. Stars such as Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Alessandra Ambrosio have been spotted sporting the brand.

Jeffrey Campbell:

The first time these shoes caught my eye was actually on my Tumblr blog. Upon browsing the fashion photo-blogs I kept seeing these shoes reappearing. I immediately thought the wooden heel instantly set this apart from the shoes I am usually used to seeing, as they usually have the skinny stiletto heel. I thought the thick wooden heel was not only a clever signature look for this designer, but it was a refreshing change from the stiletto. This designer has been designing shoes since age 10 in Los Angeles, and bases his shoes on modernized versions of vintage designs. He designs for the everyday, on the go, woman rather than celebs who have the ideal lifestyle. In my experience in trying to get my hands on a pair of these wildly fashionable shoes, they can be found on sites such as SoleStruck.Com and KarmaLoop.Com, however many of the more popular styles often sell out on the websites. A boutique that carries the brand are: LF Stores which has locations in Boston, New York, Miami and Los Angeles (LFSTORES.Com)
